Bought a new fridge, is this sound normal?

Ban on HFOs in EU, what is the probability?

I've been reading that EU has a bill in their parliament for banning HFOs because they leaving behind Purified Telephthalic Acid (PTA). Can someone from the EU help us understand how likely/unlikely this is going to be? And if the ban is likely, then which refrigerants are going to be used in home applications, commercial vehicles and industrial applications?

Edit: Maybe the ban is not because HFO1234yf leaves behind PTA but because the HFOs leave behind PFAS (forever chemicals). The question still stands.

When working in grocery store racks do you use noise cancelling headphones to protect hearing?

I know a very specific question, but I want to be able to listen to music while reducing the noise the compressors make in the rack. Not sure if it's the high frequency that does the damage.

Oil side fitting sealant

I’ve always used blue Teflon and leak lock on fittings on the oil side. Oil separators, sumps, etc. I’ve used nylon and it never seemed to hold up on a separator. Anything else worth trying?

Professional Assistance

Good Afternoon my fellow tradesman.

I have been reading Refrigeration for HVAC technicians. I am a journeyman Air Plumber. I take care of my father in laws dunkin donuts franchises.

Can you please recommend to me a good brand freezer for a walk in box. Box needs to be at -22, currently has three pipes for hot gas discharge. I have been battling ice accumulation, replacing evap fans, and five years ago had to replace the compressor. I am in the northeast so I would need low ambient.

I would also like to know you guys's charging procedure. I charged until sight-glass was full, and continued to charge until and then another 1 lb.
