Red seal exam preparation

Hi there, I am planning on taking my red seal exam sometime this year. I really struggle with the studying/ test portion of our trade. I have also been out of school for quite a few years and have forgotten basically everything. A friend of mine took his test last year’s after it got harmonized here in bc Canada and told me that he bought some sort of hvac course for like $100 with like 1000+ questions and study , and he said his red seal test questions were mostly all in the course and scored a really high mark thanks to it. He also struggled quite a bit with school and tests etc. Unfortunately he doesn’t remember that name for the test course that he bought and told me to ask here since other people must have there methods of preparation for red seal exam. If someone knows that course name or something similar, can they let me know, I would really appreciate it.

Refrigeration License

Hey guys are there any good easy to read study books you can refer to me in regards to passing the refrig license exam. Ive got a modern refrig and ac textbook coming in the mail but i cant say im not intimidated by 1600 pages of information. Thanks! Coming from a 5 year tech with no formal education learned it all in the field.

Connecting diff size shafts

I have a fan motor with a 3/4 shaft and I have a fan shaft that's 1 3/16" this unit from the 70s and the manufacturer that bought the last two manufacturers that bought the original one have no info on it. The original coupling was like a coupling pressed into a rubber bushing in the other coupling, but a few of them are coming apart. I'm looking online but not having much luck. I'll try calling around some more tomorrow but was seeing if anyone had any ideas.

Carrier transcold alarm doesn’t show up anywhere

Ac stuck in “stand by”

I a have a multi split ac Mitsubishi heavy. The unit in the living room works fine. The unit in the bedroom doesn't work. It raised the flaps in horizontal position and no more fan sound. From time to tim it works for like 10min. No flashing lights. Only the green one for power. What could it be. Its 2year old ac. Thx
